From the Foundation

Grants for the 2008 “Research Grant Program” and the 2008 “Asian Neighbors Network Program” were determined at the Toyota Foundation’s 122nd Board of Directors held on October 7.

The number of projects selected for each program/special subject is as follows:

Research Grant：26 (139,200,000yen)
Cultural Creation in Maritime East Asia：3 (110,800,000yen)
Preservation, Compilation, and Annotation of Indigenous Documents in Peripheral Regions of Asia：8 (25,000,000yen)
Making Grants Come Alive：2 (4,670,000yen)
Asian Neighbors Network Program：14 (109,340,000yen)
